Meet the Team

Dave Edwards

Head of Sales

Dave has worked across most foodservice sectors, with 16 years experience. Heading up sales for foodservice, QSR and institutional business, he is responsible for growing this area of the company through his team of ‘excellent, dedicated and experienced’ account managers. The proudest moment in his career to date was when his working partnership with a global hotel brand was held up as an example to suppliers across Europe of best working practice.

Dave’s path to working with Mission Foods may well have begun in the early 1990’s when he first became a fan of Mexican cuisine whilst in the USA. Living by the mantra ‘enjoy what you do as life is too short’, his love of Mexican food, plus Mission Foods’ authentic heritage and passionate people, make it the ideal place to be but if the chance to travel the USA in a motor home did arise, he could be persuaded.

Martin Brown

Business Manager

Martin has worked in the foodservice sector for 12 years, with such well-known brands as Blue Dragon, Maille and Tobasco at AB World Foods, KK Fine Foods and Whitakers Chocolates. Responsible for managing several foodservice accounts at Mission Foods, Martin’s key focus is developing and building long-term relationships to drive customers’ of flatbread business.

Proud to work for an industry leader that fully understands the foodservice sector, Martin’s best piece of advice is to always be honest with customers; while the best advice he ever received was to never stop learning and always ask questions. Outside of work, Martin plays golf and enjoys cycling, squash, cooking and spending time with friends and family.

What would Martin do if he won the lottery today?

“I would take the whole family to the Maldives for a month long holiday, then return to Mission Foods with the best suntan imagineable!”

Laura Williams

Business Manager

Laura has 15 years’ experience in the foodservice sector and is responsible for all sales in Ireland, building and maintaining relationships with a diverse range of customers from sandwiches makes and ready meal manufacturers through to wholesalers and coffee shop chains.

Laura’s favourite Mission product is Naan Bread as they are so versatile and have uses way beyond just as an Indian accompaniment.

Laura’s weekends tend to be spent doing a taxi service for the kids, but she tries to get out for a run a few times a week, and to relax she enjoys reading and catching up on the latest box set.

What is the best thing about working for Mission?

“We are a big company, but I love that we are still small enough to be flexible and reactive to our customers’ needs”

Natasha Bailey

Business Manager

Natasha has 13 years’ experience in the industry and looks after a range of foodservice, sandwich manufacturing and QSR customers and she loves that no two weeks in her role are ever the same.

Natasha loves Mission Foods’ heritage, “The best thing about working for Mission is working for a Mexican company, making Mexican food, using authentic Mexican practices and techniques.

Outside of work, Natasha enjoys netball and swimming and is often providing a taxi service to her children!”

What is your claim to fame?

“I once did a pilot for a TV show in the early 90’s called Quest – which went on to be on TV for a few years!”

Jayne Alexander

Customer Service Manager

Jayne is a born communicator with more than 20 years experience in customer services and is responsible for both of Mission’s customer service teams at Seaham and Coventry. The proudest moment in her career to date was with a previous company when Jayne was head hunted to sort out a problematic team – within three months she had resolved the issues and was promoted to head of customer relations.

Jayne takes great pride and satisfaction in providing a great service and says that ‘you are only as good as your team’! Outside of work Jayne is a keen swimmer and her burning ambition is to learn a foreign language.
