LACA – ‘The Main Event’ is just around the corner and this year we will be showcasing to delegates the versatility of Mission tortilla wraps. The creative applications for wraps in schools are unlimited and the fact they keep fresh for longer than sandwiches, means they can be prepared ahead of time and maintain freshness, which in turn helps to reduce wastage and eases the time pressure on caterers. Including a selection of hot and cold wraps on the school menu helps caterers to avoid menu fatigue and at Mission Foods we have various options to appeal to children, including mini wraps (6” rather than 10”) for smaller hands, as well as multi-grain and wholemeal tortillas which will appeal to the parents.

As well as live demonstrations on our main stand, at this year’s event, we will also be setting up a photobooth for delegates, encouraging them to get into the Mexican spirit with themed costumes and accessories and strike their best pose. Caterers will receive their own complimentary copy of the photograph instantly and we will be running a competition for the best poser to win a Mexican themed day for their school. This will include decorations, food and even a professional chef to help the kitchen make the most of the opportunity. For your chance of winning, make sure you look out for Mission Foods at this year’s LACA – ‘The Main Event’.
