Honeyed Figs & Gorgonzola topped Naan or Pitta

Honeyed Figs & Gorgonzola topped Naan or Pitta
Preparation time: 15 minutes
Cooking time: 15 minutes

Ingredients

  • 5 Mission Pitta or Naan Bread
  • 325g [11 ¼ oz] gorgonzola, creamy piccante or stilton cheese, sliced
  • 20 ripe figs, sliced
  • 10 tbsp runny honey
  • cracked black pepper

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 200°C/400°F/gas 6.
  2. Bake naan or pitta for 5-6 minutes to lightly crisp.
  3. Top with figs and cheese.
  4. Drizzle over honey and sprinkle with cracked pepper.
  5. Put into oven briefly for the cheese to soften but not melt.
  6. Serve warm, cut in wedges.
